It it is quickly becoming one of my favorite new cookbooks even though I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. And I’m not alone. (When I last checked, this book had over 30 reviews on Amazon.com and they’re all five stars.)

This isn’t just a book of healthy muffins. It includes all kinds of muffin recipes from healthy to indulgent. But the volume and quality of healthy muffin recipes – including a whole chapter of muffins made with super-foods – are impressive. Once you make a few batches of muffins from this book, you’ll never want to go back to using a boxed mix again.

Muffins are one of my favorite things to bake, probably because they are so quick and easy.

This is a wonderful cookbook for all levels of bakers.  The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are 24 pages of full sized pictures of several of the muffins scattered throughout the book.

All the muffins I’ve made have been very easy and turned out perfectly. Favorites so far include the best basic muffins, whole wheat applesauce muffins and Boston brown bread muffins. I can’t wait to try the chocolate macaroon muffins, when I’m feeling decadent and orange prune muffins for a healthy breakfast.

750 Best Muffin Recipes begins with helpful information about scratch muffin making including ingredients, necessary equipment and baking tips. The author’s writing style is warm and friendly.
